The Floatingsが1月、1stシングル「monica」と2ndシングル｢きっと美しいままで｣を同時リリースする。
2023年に東京で結成された後、すぐに制作期間に入ったバンドにとって、本作が待望の初リリースとなる。
浮遊する様に紡がれるボーカルを中心に、2本のリードギターから放たれる複雑なサウンドを静と動を柔軟に切り替えるリズム隊が支え、音像は時に優しく時に攻撃的に表情を変える。
80~90'sに隆盛したShoegazer/Dreampopのシーンから強い影響を受けつつも最早ジャンル不形容の本作は、バンドの標榜する｢Tokyo Neo Gazer｣を印象付けるに相応しいサウンドが展開されている。

The Floatings will release their first single "monica" and second single "きっと美しいままで" in January 2024.
These are the first release since their formation in Tokyo in 2023.
The soundscape changes its expression from gentle to aggressive at times, as the rhythm section flexibly switches between static and dynamic, with the complex sound of the two lead guitars supported by vocals that seem to float in the air.
While strongly influenced by the Shoegazer/Dreampop in the 80's and 90's, this album, which is no longer a genre, is a sound suitable for impressing the audience with the band's "Tokyo Neo Gazer" advocacy.
